The Inspiring Rise of Go in Kyrgyzstan The story of the Kyrgyz Go Federation is a remarkable example of the rapid development of Go in a country that recently had no players at all. Through the dedication and talent of Davron Yuldashov, and subsequently other Go enthusiasts, Kyrgyzstan has swiftly progressed to hosting tournaments with around 450 participants within just a few years. 🎉 In a few weeks, they will be holding their third international tournament, the Issyk-Kul Go Cup 2024. 🌍 We are very proud to have played a small part in this achievement.
