From September 27-29, our team members Maiko Gumberidze and Diana Beria represented Telagri at the Startup Investment Forum in Batumi, organized by the Georgian Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA) and Axel - Georgian Business Angel Network. This event, aimed at boosting the startup ecosystem, was a great opportunity to connect with key players in the tech and business communities. 💼 The highlight was the main session on September 28, where tech startups showcased their ideas, followed by insightful panel discussions. In addition to exchanging ideas and experiences, our team had the chance to network with angel investors and startup founders during a special dinner hosted by Axel. It was a productive and inspiring experience for all involved! 🌟 Meet Lasha Abazashvili, the Lead Developer at Telagri! With 9 years of experience as a Backend Developer, Lasha has demonstrated his expertise in directing strategic vision, leading international teams, and delivering high-performance solutions across multiple domains, including blockchain, gaming, IoT, and banking systems. His impressive achievements include reducing server usage by 88%, transitioning internal communication to microservices to support 500K concurrent users, and delivering a 40% cost reduction with faster performance. Lasha specializes in using technologies like Golang, Rust, and Node.js to build scalable architectures and future-proof solutions. Outside of work, he enjoys gaming and, whenever possible, catching up on sleep. His favorite motto? 🌟 Meet Lasha Shonia, the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Telagri! Lasha is an experienced Software/DevOps Engineer with 12 years of expertise in the software development industry. He has a strong background in designing, planning and executing projects in cloud native world. Lasha is passionate about DevOps culture and has a proven ability to maintain and improve large-scale systems. Throughout his career, he has held key positions such as Senior DevOps Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, and CTO, contributing to major projects like IDAgent, WiFisher, and Kaseya. Lasha holds a Master’s degree in computer engineering from Georgian Technical University. Outside of his work in tech, he enjoys skiing, diving, and swimming. His favorite quote? “Listen to the mustn’ts. Listen to the don’ts. Listen to the shouldn’ts, the impossibles, the won’ts. Listen to the never haves, then listen close to me… Anything can happen, Anything can be.” Fun fact: Lasha admits he’s a terrible cook—so don’t try his food! 🍲 If he could have any superpower, it would be teleportation. 🌍 💫

Maia is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with over 10 years of experience in marketing and communications. Throughout her career, she has worked with international and local organizations across various industries, including banking, FMCG, insurance, healthcare, startups, and retail. Her impressive portfolio includes clients such as UN Women, Zink Network, the American Chamber of Commerce in Georgia, TBC, Evex, ICR Corp etc. As part of the Tbilisi-UNESCO World Book Capital team, Maia participated in executing over 70 projects in one year. Now, at Telagri, she focuses on building strong relationships with farmers and ensuring their seamless integration into the platform through effective communication strategies. Outside of work, Maia is passionate about sports and holds a certification in sports psychology. She also enjoys cinema and playing Crash Team Racing with friends.
