The track’s title is a reference to The Notorious B.I.G.’s hit song “Mo' Money Mo' Problems”. Meanwhile Cole’s “money” flow here is seemingly an ode to verse 1 of Jay-Z’s “Imaginary Player”.

Don’t believe the parenthetical in the song title. This is a real song, albeit, a relatively brief one. While eerie theremin sounds intertwine, Cole raps about greenbacks, skilfully ending each line with money. It’s one of the most quotable verses on the album, and will be an inevitable street favorite.
