This ✨giving Tuesday✨, please join our annual fundraising campaign for the Scholarship Program! This year we're sponsoring 29 junior high school students and 20 senior high school students to start school in January 2023. The Secondary School Scholarship Program is one of the key initiatives of Amenuveve - 100% of donations fund the students' tuition, textbooks, and uniforms - no administrative costs are deducted. Donate any amount directly @ https://lnkd.in/eb9uYSSp - on average, $90 sponsors a student for the whole year! (Amenuveve is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and all donations are tax deductible.) #givingtuesday #nonprofit #education #students

Our team educated the Girl Child on menstrual hygiene management. Our goal is to see the girlchild staying healthy and focused on their future. #Voltapad #Internationaldayofthegirlchild2024 Rachel Kowal NYU Stern School of Business

As today marks a special day to honour the Girl Child, we would be live in Adaklu Kpodzi and Adaklu Torda schools to educate girls on the need to maintain a good menstrual hygiene. To every parent who has a girlchild, note that you have more than the world, and always let them know that they are of great value #InternationalDayOfTheGirlChild #Amenuveve #menstrualhygiene

In July, we were thrilled to host 15 students from Justworks Leadership Fellows, Executive Education Program from New York University in the USA. The team visited Ghana as part of the Global Immersion program to identify opportunities in Social Entrepreneurial Development. They were led by our Advisory Board member Rachel Kowal and our Board member, Robert Tornu . During their visit, they embarked on a tour of our Volta Pads production unit, gaining insight into the meticulous procedures and quality control measures that ensure our products meet the highest standards. Their Ghanaian experience was further enriched with a visit to the Batik Centre at Tsatoe, where they were warmly welcomed with a traditional ceremony. Immersing themselves in rural Ghanaian life, they participated in activities like fetching water from the stream, cooking with local families, and more. At the Amenuveve Batik Centre, our visitors had the opportunity to create their own batik designs and interact with our skilled production team.
