From her engaging Talk Session to a dynamic Panel Discussion, Ms. Korleki Setor Akpey, Volta Regional Manager of Donewell Insurance Ltd., delivered powerful insights on women’s leadership that left us inspired and ready to act. She reminded us that leadership isn’t defined by titles—it’s about taking action. “Everybody is a leader,” she declared, urging every woman to be prepared to lead. Ms. Akpey emphasized that effective leadership requires intention and practice; we learn to lead by doing. She encouraged us that when we face challenges, especially at work, we should find what is missing and offer it. This can turn obstacles into opportunities to grow and lead well. She also challenged us to embrace rural postings as valuable opportunities for growth and empowerment.
