Senior Design Draughtsman MiningPro is an engineering and construction services provider in Ghana and West Africa with specialties in metallurgy, studies, engineering, construction and projects. MiningPro is seeking qualified and experienced personnel to be part of our dedicated team as a Senior Design Draughtsman. The role is responsible for delivery of process and mining modular plant and equipment designs for various projects in accordance with standards, policies and procedures to meet the company, client and projects requirements. Industry Experience and Knowledge 1.    Strong focus on site Safely, Health and Environment and adherence to site policies and procedures is essential. 2.    Strong 3D modelling, layout and detailed engineering designs as well as quantity estimating for process and mining operations 3.    Strong exposure to site installation and a workshop fabrication of structural, mechanical, plateworks and piping. Key Tasks and Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for: 1.    Producing 3D models to fully populate SMPP designs for mining and process modular plant. 2.    Developing General Arrangement (GA), shop drawings, and plant layout drawings of the proposed installation (plan, elevation and isometric). 3.    Coordinating design reviews and checking conformance (internal and external) of drawings for plant layout and detailed engineering design. 4.    Developing material take-offs and preparing bill of quantities. 5.    Providing design information to section leader for inter-disciplinary interface. 4.    Assisting and guiding entry designers or junior draughtsmen by providing training and development. Key Performance Indicators 1.    Design, draft and direct of 3D modelling, GA and detailed engineering designs including workshop drawings for all related projects. 2.    Perform site visits, site checks and data gathering, fabrication and installation supervisions as well as commissioning during implementation of projects. Qualification Requirements 1.    Relevant qualification in Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering, Construction Technology & Management. 2.    Professional Engineer Registered or MINCOM License Certified. 3.    At least 8 years of experience in mechanical design and drafting (structural steel and platework) within a design and construction environment in the Mining and/or EPCM Industries. 4.    Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role on mining and mineral processing projects. 5.    Must have experience in plant design and construction as well as excellent attention to details. 6.    Must have advanced Autodesk software experience and in-depth knowledge of relevant detailing or drafting CAD software. MiningPro is seeking qualified and experienced personnel to be part of our dedicated team as a Project Manager. The role is responsible for leading, coordinating and managing projects from initiation to close-out, ensuring that the projects are efficiently and effectively managed, resulting in successful completion to the satisfaction of the Client. The selected candidate will work closely with the Project Director and independently with minimal supervision. Industry Experience and Knowledge 1.    Strong focus on site Safely, Health and Environment (SHE) and adherence to site policies and procedures is essential. 2.    Project studies, engineering and construction execution. 3.    Practical knowledge and experience are essential in mineral processing, mining operations and engineering design process Key Tasks and Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for: 1.    Ensuring appropriate standards and quality are maintained during the execution of all projects 2.    Managing the execution of project phases including pre-feasibility, feasibility, engineering design and construction on time and of the right quality. 3.    Providing project plans and documentation to enable the project to be managed against clear sets of defined deliverables and milestones. 4.    Engaging project, engineering and construction teams, ensuring that they understand the project strategy and requirements 5.    Managing overall project program, costs, forecasts and end of month reporting 6.    Developing technical reports (design, pre-feasibility, feasibility, etc.) and project documentation (scope, procedure, standards, specifications, methodology, budget, schedules, etc.) for project implementation and tender processes. 7.    Providing leadership to the project, engineering and construction teams by defining work and ensuring deadlines are understood and adhered to Key Competencies Must meet section KPI as required by the company. 1.    Define, maintain, and work to engineering design criteria and project deliverables. 2.    Excellent organizational skills and results oriented with the ability to plan and deliver against strict deadlines Qualification Requirements 1.    Degree in Metallurgical, Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering, Construction Technology & Management. 2.    Professional Engineer Registered or Project Management Certified 3.    At least 10 years of experience within a design and construction environment in the Mining and/or EPCM Industries. 4.    Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in managing mining and infrastructure projects through their complete cycles from initiation to close-out. 5.    Must have extensive experience delivering medium to large scale projects Submit your CV to info@mppegh.com with title, Project Manager

The selected candidate will work closely with the Project Manager and independently with minimal supervision. Industry Experience and Knowledge 1.    Strong focus on site Safely, Health and Environment and adherence to site policies and procedures is essential. 2.    Strong mechanical engineering or construction technology background 3.    Practical knowledge and experience are essential in mining operations, engineering design process and Project Costing Key Tasks and Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for: 1.    Reviewing design calculations and equipment selection, for various applications including bulk materials handling systems, slurry and hydraulic systems. 2.    Conducting technical reviews and evaluations of engineering designs for Civil and SMPP scope. 3.    Collaborate with the multi-disciplined engineering team to ensure that designs meet the project requirements and are in accordance with relevant codes and standards 4.    Preparation and review of BOQ, cost estimates, technical specifications and datasheets for Civil and SMPP scope 5.    Reviewing supplier and vendor documentation and facilitate incorporation into project designs with specific reference to ensuring constructability, operability and maintainability 6.    Assisting in develop and maintain project schedules, budgets and other project controls documentation 7.    Provide technical support to other project disciplines and team members 8.    Identifying and managing risks, both project and technical, and taking appropriate action to ensure successful project outcomes Key Competencies Must meet section KPI as required by the company. 1.    Define, maintain, and work to engineering design criteria and project deliverables. 2.    Study and review engineering designs and drawings for construction purposes and assist in the resolving of technical queries throughout the project execution phase.
