hotavocado I used to listen to this album multiple times a day while doing busy work. It makes for nice background music but is always nice to focus on the lyrics when you want a break. Favorite track: Low Rumble.

mgbeatz I am so glad I discovered this album a few years back! Anytime I listen it, vivid colorful pictures are painted in my mind, just like the album cover. The spacey-reverby sound of all the instruments and vocals just mesh together wonderfully, like you're in a dream. A truly unique masterpiece; definitely one of my personal favorites! Looking forward to future projects!
-MG 10/6/22 Favorite track: Comfort Devil.

I wish I could fly away And then you could come back down Forever to turn the page I saw all the sparks today Who can rest if I'm alight? I wish I could fly away And live with the birds and planes No match for the girl whose face Is made up of tiny stars Who can rest if I'm alight?

Out Here 03:46
Now the street is calming down But the street will never rest And the arrow points to you You're too much The strangers you knew Couldn't ever have wanted you I told you so I have to push them away I wanna see you comin' in Wanna see you on the run When the end is so new The rise and fall For 23 years I'm the one that wanted you I kept you close And now I can prove it Out here We can never go Out here It's for real and we don't make it up Now I feel it wearing off But the feeling will never rest So what did you have to lose? It's the way you thought According to you They will never chase you down They're way too slow You say that you're stronger I wanna see you comin' in Wanna see you on the run When the end is so new The rise and fall For 23 years I'm the one that wanted you I kept you close And now I can prove it Out here We can never go Out here It's for real and we don't make it up If we go back now It's a long way down It's a long way down It's a long way If you doubt me now It's a long way down It's a long way down It's a long way x 2 I wanna see you comin' in Wanna see you on the run When the end is so new The rise and fall For 23 years I'm the one that wanted you I kept you close And now I can prove it Out here We can never go Out here It's for real and we don't make it up

Three 03:23
I want to feel connected Lock the doors I'm staying out Carefully selective Lucky one Or send it back Lead me in the dark Take me through Just the way you are Somewhere new Want to be defensive Slash and burn It's nothing else Build it up, direct it Help me out I'm panicking Lead me in the dark Take me through Just the way you are Somewhere new Soon I'll be alone And I'll stay under water Soon I'll be alone Don't say where you are I can be alone And I'll feel much better Can't get along What makes you think that I can? Call you when I get there Left a note For everyone Feel a bit rejected Help me out I'm panicking Lead me in the dark Take me through Just the way you are Somewhere new
4.
Saved 03:52
Screwed up and broke down I never wanted to Sat still and lost it all I never left my chair They're just the same walls And things around us change I'm saying what's gotta be said And there's no other way Cold feet, I don't wanna be scared I can only save myself I thought the new you Could fix the other one Not gonna wait for proof When you're under the gun They're just the same rules And things around us change I'm saying what's gotta be said And there's no other way Cold feet, I don't wanna be scared I can only save myself Moving unsteadily We never aim to please It's not so challenging With everything you need You look way down No color in your face Sit down and talk it out Until we feel the sting They're just the same rules And things around us change
5.
What's to compare when you're close to me? Though you never were It's the land sliding down and the vapors rolling off Though I knew you were The last living corner as we search for sleep Goodnight When it wears off You grab the hand in the smoke When you feel soft You grab the hand in the smoke And when you fall asleep in bed I know the comfort fills your head Watch out, the mattress is a jail And now you dream of other beds It's all in good humor when we laugh at how they talk You know they're not from here We can tell them where to go, we can tell them how to walk They don't pretend Let them know it's time to go When the sun is coming up When it wears off You grab the hand in the smoke When you feel soft You grab the hand in the smoke And when you fall asleep in bed I know the comfort fills your head Watch out, the mattress is a jail And now you dream of other beds The end of the city is the end that we fought You never wrote me back You enter the city and you're never coming out
6.
Low Rumble 03:33
This weight It's mine alone Heavy Sliding down x 2 Waiting Don't bother waiting This way It's mine alone No escape From what I found This weight It's mine alone Like the waves Sink, swim, or drown Waiting Don't bother waiting
7.
She Did 04:59
She was somewhere else A thousand miles away All by herself Waiting there for me I'm not awake I don't want to go I don't want to be here Things never change They don't have to stay the same It's what she did to be fair It's what she did to be there She found a place With walls that never stay All to herself Holding dreams at bay I'm not afraid I won't let you go But I don't believe you Things never change But they don't have to stay the same It's what she did to be fair It's what she did to be there Her sister ran away To start a family It's out of sequence How I remember it I saw the lake of red And you were there with me It's not a memory If we don't remember when It's just another way To get back at me It's not a secret And no I won't forget Her sister ran away To start a family It's out of sequence How I remember it It's just another way To get back at me It's not a secret And no I won't forget
8.
Slow Burn 05:16
Don't stop if you run away No turning back, no other fate You want to laugh, want to celebrate You ruined that, faithfully Move along I will hesitate Fahrenheit, you're in centigrade I did the math, I don't want to play You wouldn't ask, truthfully Let's get it out of the way The long, slow burn Don't wait for a rainy day You're lucky now, but that'll change I'm burning out, I don't want to fade It couldn't last, truthfully Move along I will hesitate Fahrenheit, you're in centigrade I did the math, I don't want to play Remember that, remember that. Let's get it out of the way The long, slow burn
9.
You're always at my door Trying to hurry me You're always on the floor Trying to worry me Now we're going to crash Promise not to laugh If I find the time Would it change your mind? You're sitting in the street Trying to save the world You always give me grief For trusting anyone Now we're going to crash Promise not to laugh If I find the time Would it change your mind? It's what you'll never find In anyone Go back to sleep It's never done Now we're going to crash Promise not to laugh If I find the time Would it change your mind? (Don't wake me, I'm asleep) You're always at my door Trying to hurry me You're always on the floor And it's embarrassing
10.
Through the faded screen and the tinted glass Will you deliver? Would you die for that? What you never see, what you never ask You want to disappear, a wanderlust You and me, we've got this thing and we're never gonna give it away When the pieces fit, I wanna fold in half Make the straightest line Take the straightest path With a glove that fits on a broken hand There's no way for me to hang on You and me, we've got this thing and we're never gonna give it away I feel fine eventually But then I wake so differently I feel fine eventually But then I wake 'em up
11.
Wolves 04:56
I'm old enough To let you go Say it's not for me I'm moving on Cause what I found Is more of the same I'm old enough To let you go But you just won't leave I'm moving on Cause what I found Is more of the same Keep it down They should never hear you move around It's too late No motive Nothing but a pretty face Looking away We're so close to everything But we don't know it's just a dream Silver and gold Wherever it goes It's always too far Stains on the wall You scrub them all But they just don't fade Silver and gold Wherever it goes It's always too far Painting the walls To cover up But it's just too late Keep it down They should never hear you move around It's too late No motive Nothing but a pretty face Looking away We're so close to everything But we don't know it's just a dream
12.
Long Walk 04:06
You wanna get away You need to pace it out To go a long way The strangest dream You'll never walk away No matter what you're thinking I won't be here anymore No you can't leave You learn too fast But you don't know where you're going The strangest dream You'll never walk away Maybe you're feeling sorry I won't be here anymore I've decided to wait Giving up seems so hard Will you be there waiting for me? You've just gotta get on top Cause the other ones drop You're losing your feet It just won't stop You can only get so far Give it all you've got The feeling is changing It's not what you thought
