Installation

1. Unzip prboom-rt.zip to an empty folder
2. Place the original game's DOOM.WAD to that folder
3. Run prboom-plus.exe

Optional:

• High-quality music:
  • download OGG Pack (Boosted), and copy MUSIC folder to the target folder
• DLSS:
  • download nvngx_dlss.dll, and place it to the the target folder
  • download RayTracedGL1-DLSS.zip, and replace RayTracedGL1.dll in the target folder

Update log

• AMD GPU support - thanks to kd-11!
• CRT-interlacing simulation mode: reuse half of the pixels from previous frame -- increases perfomance
• reduced amount of sparkles

Mods

• Instructions for placing light sources on custom maps (i.e. anything besides the first three episodes of Doom 1993)

Notes

• if you have NVIDIA as the dedicated GPU and AMD as the integrated GPU (usually laptops have such configuration):
  • this Nvidia's solution may help (or check this thread)
• check GPU compatibility on gpuinfo
• project can be compiled on Linux
