❄️ Event Recap: Polar Circle Marathon 2024 🏔️ 🏃 The Polar Circle Marathon 2024 has officially come to a close, and what a breathtaking race it was! Over 220 runners from 30 countries pushed their limits in some of the harshest conditions imaginable. 🌬️🥶 Whether it was the icy winds, frozen landscapes, or the sheer determination of every participant, this year’s race was an unforgettable experience for all involved. A massive congratulations to all runners – your perseverance is truly inspiring!🏅🙌 We’d like to give a huge thank you to everyone involved for bringing this arctic adventure to life. Can you Endure The Extreme? We're deep in the wilderness of Greenland. It’s completely silent except for the crunch of your footsteps and the sharp Arctic wind. Ice stretches as far as you can see, with maybe a hut or two visible in the distance. The Asi Ultra Marathon is a unique arctic stage race, which takes you across 150 kilometres of frozen lakes, tundra, and sea ice in the wilderness of Greenland. The route follows the traditional sled path from the abandoned military base in Kangerlussuaq, all the way to Sisimiut. Each winter, the trail is shaped by the paws of sled dogs and the tracks of hunters' snowmobiles, in an Arctic hunting ground that Inuit have used for over 4,000 years. The race takes place in March, where temperatures normally range from -5 to -20 degrees. The landscape, lakes, and sea are frozen solid, but the sun has begun to emerge after the long dark season, and at night, the Northern Lights dance in the sky above the campsites. 🏜️ Event Recap: Petra Desert Marathon 2024 🐫 This year's Petra Desert Marathon was nothing short of incredible! On Saturday, September 7th, 207 runners from 38 different countries took on the challenging course through the Jordanian desert. From the ancient rock-carved facades of Petra to the rugged desert terrain, every step was a journey through history. With soaring temperatures and the iconic Monastery, Siq, and Treasury as the backdrop, participants pushed through the heat to conquer the race.🥵 Huge congratulations to all runners, what an achievement🏅 And thank you to everyone involved, your energy and passion are what makes this race so special! 🏅🌍 Event Recap: Big Five Marathon 2024 🌍🏅 This Saturday, June 15, 2024, the Big Five Marathon kicked off with almost 200 runners from 25 different nations! 🇿🇦🐾 The day before the race, participants had the thrilling opportunity to see most of the Big Five along the route. Some runners got a bit nervous, but luckily, the majestic animals were on their best behavior and made space for everyone to take on the course. Congratulations to all the runners for their incredible achievement! And thank you to all the supporters who made this marathon an extraordinary experience! 🌟 See you next year?🦁

The Icefjord Midnight Marathon - Yet another successful race! This June 1st runners from across the world ran under the magnificent Polar Sun of Ilulissat, Greenland. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a dynamic natural wonder and a portrait of Greenland's stunning glacial giants. In June the sun never sets, and racing under the midnight sun adds a majestic atmosphere to already breathtaking surroundings. Watch this year's Event Recap, and prepare yourself for 2025.
