Rhonda Arledge: Going with the flow

Rhonda Arledge: Going with the flow

Despite having a long run with a large staffing company such as Adecco, Alpha Pac recruiter Rhonda Arledge found out recruitment with gpac is a whole different game.

During her first months with gpac, she realized, unlike her former role as a leader and delegator, she's involved with all the stages of recruitment, from creating job postings and sourcing candidates to placements and direct hires.

Although her background was one of the qualities that caught the eye of gpac's chairman, Ryan Good, Rhonda struggled to unlearn what she knew about recruiting and learn the gpac way. But once she started trusting the process, she was up and running to succeed.

Her biggest advice for new recruiters is to stick with and trust the process, even when things aren't clicking just yet. Getting advice and guidance from her coach and top performers got her on track. On top of that, she's learned that to succeed, you have to keep enough "balls in the air" so you can keep going when one falls.

With less than a year needed to become an Alpha Pac recruiter, Rhonda knows joining gpac was the best decision she could make, and that's the main takeaway she has for people considering recruitment as a career.
