At BIOEMTECH, we have an inherent passion for sharing knowledge. It is what drives us to organise our Annual Workshop and what made us aspire a specific science spot in our website, where someone can just read scientific reports and be scientifically updated on what is happening in the exciting field of Drug Discovery & Targeted Radioligand Therapy. This is why we are launching the Knowledge Hub 🧠 - each month we will be uploading a new "Science Letter" 👩🔬 , created by our collaborators, sponsors and team members. You can already read the first one, by Janke Kleynhans, on "Working with Actinium-225". 👉 https://lnkd.in/dmf4SeFh #ScienceLetters, #KnowledgeHub, #DrugDiscovery, #Radiopharmaceutics, #Actinium

BIOEMTECH is a preclinical CRO that aims to bridge the gap between ex vivo studies and in vivo molecular imaging, by providing cost effective solutions in terms of instrumentation and services. BIOEMTECH has developed and commercialized the "eyes", the first desktop cameras, suitable for whole body, real time imaging of PET and SPECT isotopes in mice. In addition, BIOEMTECH undertakes full studies for evaluating new compounds in our authorized laboratories that include animal facility, in vitro lab, radiochemistry lab and in vivo imaging with microPET/SPECT/CT and optical imaging. Our clients include both Universities and Pharma companies. The company is GLP accredited for pwrforming Toxicological studies and is licensed to use radioisotopes, hence capable of evaluating diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals. Finally, BIOEMTECH is rather active as an imaging partner in several projects including H2020, FET, ERA, ITN and more.

👩🔬 The 4th Annual BIOEMTECH's Preclinical Workshop drew to a close today with one last session on #Molecules. We would like to thank Theodoros Karampelas for his presentations and for moderating the panel discussion on “Targets & Therapies”, Jacob Hesterman and Olof Eriksson for their presentations, and finally Jeff Norenberg for joining in the panel discussion. ✨ At the closing session there was a lot of excitement, and we committed to returning next year even more engaged in embracing scientists translate ideas into outcomes. 👏 A big round of applause to our workshop host, Katerina Argyropoulou, who kept everything running smoothly always with a smile on her face. 🍴 🍷 Before saying goodbye to all our attendees and speakers, we had the chance to have lunch and some farewell drinks, relax a little bit and chat, making our farewells a more memorable experience. This was a great week for us! #preclinicalresearch #molecularimaging #drugdiscovery #pharmaceuticalresearch #nuclearmedicine #oncology #radiopharmaceuticals

🧑🎓 Today we delved deeper into subjects such as "Molecules in Drug Discovery and Regulatory" and "Operating Aspects of Preclinical/Clinical Studies" with 2 very interesting sessions. Each session was followed by a stimulating panel discussion on the crucial topic of “Choosing the right molecule” and the vital subject of “GLP & procedures”. 🙏 We would like to thank Jeff Norenberg for the opening presentation and for moderating the 1st panel discussion, Anne Bredenbeck, Federico Maisano for their nice presentations and SUJIET PUTHENVEETIL for participating in the panel discussion. We would also like to thank Irving Allen, Monique Bernsen for their presentations and finally Argyro Zacharioudaki for her presentation and moderation of the 2nd panel discussion. 🥂 We've got one last day of the 4th Annual BIOEMTECH's Preclinical Workshop tomorrow with one more #Molecules session on the agenda. After that, we'll have the closing ceremony with some farewell drinks. #preclinicalresearch #molecularimaging #drugdiscovery #pharmaceuticalresearch #nuclearmedicine #oncology #radiopharmaceuticals

Last week took place the 1st SMARTdrugs symposium in #Raitenhaslach, Germany. BIOEMTECH is an industrial associated partner of SMARTdrugs project and our Science & Innovation Manager Maria Kitsara had the honor to participate as a speaker, sharing knowledge that springs from our experience in the field of radiotheranostics and molecular imaging. 📈 Her presentation was entitled “From Academia to Industry: Converting an Idea into a Product” and was an insightful overview of our company’s history as well as our expertise-core business in molecular imaging systems and services. 🤝 We are always happy to meet and collaborate with great scientists of the field, such as Angela Casini, Jason Holland, Jordi Llop, Alex Poot, Tim Witney, Kevin Brindle, Matt Morrison, Marco Cavaco - iMM Portugal, Marian Meckel - ITM Radiopharma and Mónica Carril García - UPV Spain. Moving forward to the amazing journey ahead! #SMARTdrugs #EUproject #nuclearmedicine #radiotheranostics #radiopharmaceuticals #molecularimaging #oncology
