🌍 Embracing Sustainable Tourism in the Mediterranean – MAST Project 🌍 We're thrilled to share the success of the Mediterranean Alliance for Sustainable Tourism (MAST) UFM project, where EILD joined forces with partners across the Mediterranean to revitalize and innovate in the tourism sector. This initiative supported post-COVID recovery by encouraging sustainable tourism and fostering fresh approaches, such as cultural heritage and eco-tourism, while enhancing resilience among local MSMEs. Through MAST, we’ve strengthened our experience and network in the Mediterranean, advancing impactful collaboration among public authorities, tourism entrepreneurs, and local communities. Together with partners like University of Eastern Piedmont (Italy), Mediterranean Academy of Culture, Technology and Trade (Malta), Union Maghrebine et Nord Africaine des Agriculteurs (Tunisia), and Regional Observatory of Agriculture and Development (Morocco), we focused on empowering sustainable tourism entrepreneurs, promoting biodiversity, and building pathways for employment and partnerships.
