🏛 Stephanos Theodorides, Chairman of the Board of Growthfund, the National Fund of Greece, the National Investment Fund of Greece, participated in the 3rd Financial Conference, by Η ΝΑΥΤΕΜΠΟΡΙΚΗ | NAFTEMPORIKI. The panel discussion, moderated by Anestis Dokas, journalist, focused on the implementation of a comprehensive plan to upgrade Greece’s road, aviation, rail, port, and logistics infrastructure, with the aim of establishing the country as a key transportation hub in Southeast Europe. Our strategy is grounded in sustainability—protecting the environment, creating jobs, and ensuring economic viability. 📌 Two key examples of value creation from our ecosystem: 1️⃣ The former Gonou military camp, where previous efforts failed. A shift in strategy by ΓΑΙΑΟΣΕ Α.Ε./GAIAOSE S.A., a Growthfund group company, led to a plan for the establishment of a free-trade zone. 2️⃣ The redevelopment of the Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF-HELEXPO), an iconic project initiated through consultations and a public tender, setting a new benchmark for the city. 📈 For every project, our priority is the long-term maximization of value, with responsibility and a positive economic, environmental, and social impact. We aim for targeted investments in critical sectors and enhanced services for citizens, acting as a catalyst for investments that prioritize social outcomes.
