This insightful event was organized by EuroCC SLING, the Slovenian Competence Center for #HPC. 🚀 𝗗𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗮𝘁 𝗜𝗗𝗦𝗔'𝘀 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻! 🤝 On Monday, September 9th, 2024, International Data Spaces Association (IDSA) hosted a high-level stakeholder event in Brussels, Belgium, titled “𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘁-𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀: 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗹 𝗮𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱.” The event sparked insightful discussions on the future of #dataspaces and #datasharing. 🌾 The Horizon Europe DIVINE Project, dedicated to advancing #datasovereignty and #interoperability in the #agricultural sector, actively participated in this impactful gathering. Marios Paraskevopoulos from ICCS - NTUA represented DIVINE, delivering a presentation during the "𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗹 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗱" session. He highlighted the project's objectives, key technical challenges, and its targeted outcomes. 🖇 One of the key points emphasized was how the 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗹 is integrated into the 𝗗𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺, ensuring #secure and #interoperable data sharing. In addition, DIVINE plays a crucial role in refining the #protocol by contributing valuable feedback from its four real-world pilots, thus driving its continuous improvement. 🎤 Our partner, Anil Turkmayali, initiated this insightful session and provided a comprehensive introduction to the #DataSpaceProtocol. 🌟 Exciting Highlights from AGRA 2024! 🌟 Our Slovenian partners, ITC - Innovation Technology Cluster (DIH AGRIFOOD) and KGZS - Zavod Murska Sobota, have been making significant strides in the #DIVINEpilot which is focused on optimizing milk production through #digitalinnovation. Recently, they showcased some key achievements of the Horizon Europe DIVINE Project at the 62nd International Fair of #Agriculture and #Food (#AGRA2024), held in Gornja Radgona, Slovenia, from August 24th to 29th. With over 1,700 exhibitors from 35 countries and more than 100,000 visitors, AGRA 2024 marked the largest and most influential agriculture and food #fair in Slovenia — and beyond! 🚜🌾🌍 During the fair, our partners highlighted the value of #agridatasharing and #digitaltransfomration of the agricultural sector by showcasing how the DIVINE Agricultural #DataSpace Ecosystem and the livestock benchmarking app can support #milkproduction #optimization. ✨ DIVINE shines at IEEE COINS 2024 ✨ Horizon Europe DIVINE Project had a significant presence at the prestigious IEEE International #Conference on Omni-layer #IntelligentSystems 2024 (#IEEECOINS2024), held from July 29th to 31st in London, UK. 🚨 New Publication Alert! 📢 We're excited to announce that Horizon Europe DIVINE Project has been featured in the #research #article, “Aligning interoperability architectures for digital agri-food platforms,” published in the current volume of Elsevier's "Computers and Electronics in Agriculture" journal. ⚙ #DIVINE emphasizes #interoperability across four layers: technical, semantic, organizational, and legal. This paper underscores the importance of making interoperability a high-priority challenge to optimize the use of #digitalplatforms in the #agrifood sector. 🔗 Extending the work of previous projects is crucial in this direction, and incorporating their key findings is essential for the development of the DIVINE Agricultural #DataSpace Ecosystem.
