🎥Now Online: Book presentation entitled ‘Sabina in Athens’ by the author Nynke Smits 📌The book presentation entitled ‘Sabina in Athens’ is now available on the YouTube-channel of our Institute. 👉This event was organized in the framework of the new activities of the NIA Library. The book presentation was referring to the book ‘Sabina, vrouw van Hadrianus. Een bijzondere liefdesgeschiedenis’ which was translated into French under the title ‘Mémoires de Sabine, épouse d’Hadrien. Une histoire d’amour hors norme’. ✍️The author delivered the talk ‘Sabina in Athens’ which took place on October 9th, 2024. Migration in the Margins of Europe Winter School Applications Open! 📌DEADLINE 20 NOVEMBER 2024! The Netherlands Institute at Athens is organizing from January 20-31, 2025 for the twelfth time the intensive Winter School "Migration in the Margins of Europe". It is addressed to postgraduate students and PhD candidates in the field of Social and Political Sciences and is organized in collaboration with the University of Amsterdam and the Department of Social and Cultural Anthropology of the VU University of Amsterdam.
