Do you want to see what’s happening at our Academy? ✨ 🎯 Our goal is to continuously offer new vocational training programs that meet the needs of both our beneficiaries and the job market. This time, two new courses were conducted in partnership with VITEX: "Thermal Insulation Technician" and "Professional Painter." A special moment for us was when participants shared that they now feel confident, equipped with the necessary certifications and skills to specialize in what they truly want. Didn't have the chance to attend the courses? No worries! If you’re in Thessaloniki, a new cycle of these courses in partnership with Vitex is starting soon! 🔗 Register now: https://lnkd.in/dN75k6Ce

🚀 Milestone Reached! 10k beneficiaries! Since 2019, when we established our internal platform for monitoring our work and evaluating our impact, over 10,000 unique beneficiaries have registered to receive our services! 👏 ✨ At Odyssea, we empower our beneficiaries by gathering several data to understand their unique profiles and needs. Many of these individuals come from challenging backgrounds and have faced significant obstacles in securing meaningful employment. 📊 Our platform captures detailed skills, education, demographics, and progress information to tailor educational programs and career support, ensuring that each person receives services aligned with both their aspirations and the demands of the labor market. This data-driven approach not only enhances learning outcomes but also showcases our impact in real time. 🙏 A huge thank you to our team and partners for making this possible. Together, we ensure equal opportunities for all by harnessing the power of knowledge for employment and personal development. #VocationalTraining #socialimpact #OpportunitiesForAll

🌍 In Greece, entrepreneurship isn’t just challenging—it’s unequal. While some have access to networks, funding, and guidance, many aspiring founders lack the resources to even begin. There’s no clear roadmap, no structured support, and often, no second chances. The result? Great ideas never materialize, and potential goes untapped. The good news? No one has to do it alone. With the right guidance, community, and structure, aspiring entrepreneurs don’t just launch businesses—they create jobs, strengthen communities, and drive innovation. 💡 A great idea is just the start. Frameworks like the Business Model Canvas, revenue strategies, and market positioning help turn ideas into reality. Understanding financing, legal structures, and investor pitching ensures sustainability. With the right tools, ambition transforms into action. For those thinking about starting their journey, there’s a way forward. Programs like the Entrepreneur Incubator at Odyssea Youth Center in Thessaloniki help bridge the gap, offering aspiring founders a launchpad to develop their ideas with the right foundation. We are excited to be part of the ALL IN EDUCATION project, working towards enhancing social inclusion, improving education quality—especially for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), reducing school drop-out rates, and fostering resilient, inclusive societies. 🌍 The Kick-Off Meeting took place in the facilities of APRO Formazione in Alba, Italy, where we had the opportunity to collaborate with our incredible partners: Apro Formazione S.c.a.r.l. (Italy) ROC Drenthe College (Netherlands) Keski-Pohjanmaan koulutusyhtymä (Finland) Centro San Viator (Spain) Together, we discussed the project's roadmap, key objectives, and the next steps to make education more inclusive and accessible for all. 🙏 A big thank you to APRO Formazione for hosting this important meeting in their excellent facilities! We are looking forward to an impactful journey ahead! 🚀 #ALLINEducation #InclusiveEducation #SEN #ErasmusPlus #EducationForAll #Collaboration #SocialInclusion

Today isn’t just about celebrating the achievements of women and girls in STEM, it’s about acknowledging the harsh truths that still persist. The reality: 🔬 Only 33.3% of researchers globally are women. 🏛Women hold just 12% of memberships in national scientific academies. 📉 Women face a steep drop in STEM careers, going from over 50% at entry-level jobs to less than 20% in top executive roles. 🧪 Women make up only 28% of scientists and engineers worldwide. The visibility gap is not only statistic, it's a reflection of systemic barriers that continue to hold back progress. 🌍 As partners in the STEAM.SENSE project, co-funded by the EU, we are actively challenging stereotypes, pushing for equality, and building a future where the face of science is diverse and inclusive. The STEAM.SENSE project aims to involve more girls in STEM fields, debunk stereotypes, promotes equality policies and brings a more diverse picture of ‘the scientist’ than the white, middle aged straight man. Aligned with SDG 4: Education, which ensures inclusive, equitable quality education for all and promotes lifelong learning opportunities for everyone, we must act now. Let’s break the barriers together! Science is for everyone. Let’s create a future where girls and women lead the way in STEM! 💪 #InternationalDayOfWomenAndGirlsInScience #STEAMSENSE #SDG4 #GenderEquality
