The 5th Annual Political Dialogue, organized by the European Commission and the Ministry of Cohesion and Regional Development of Slovenia, recently took place with great success in the Municipality of Velenje, Slovenia. The #SITRANSeu coordinator, Professor Ioannis Bakouros, was one of the keynote speakers; he provided a detailed presentation on the results of the project, specifically focusing on the steps and stages involved in creating an independent Observatory for Fair Energy Transition. 🗞 A new publication has been released within the #SITRANSeu project. This is a report entitled "Intentionally Designing Sustainable Consumption and Production Policies and Practices to Reduce Inequalities", which identifies several actions related to how we produce and consume our resources, address the global trade imbalance, promote institutional changes and good governance, create the fiscal space to improve human well-being and support societal changes, incentivise technology adoption, and rethink the metric for measuring societal wellbeing.
