Metlen Energy & Metals is currently in search of a Legal Advisor to handle legal matters concerning the Central General Directorates, including HR, Treasury Corporate & IR, Finance, Corporate Governance, and Corporate Communication, with a specific focus on Treasury-related issues.

Your role will encompass:  

• Draft and review day-to-day commercial contracts and other business-related documents in close cooperation with the company’s divisions (Accounting & Finance, Procurement), in both Greek and English languages; 
• Assist operational teams in the day-to-day management of projects; 
• Interpret laws, rulings and regulations in the context of working on several legal documents; 
• Liaise with external lawyers in cases requiring external legal support; 
• Coordinate with other teams across the company to create and evolve good knowledge, process and expertise of relevant legal topics across all teams within the company; 
• Give accurate and timely counsel on corporate finance and law, investor relations and other relevant topics;
• Be involved in drafting, reviewing and negotiating varied types of contracts and legal documents in financing transactions: secured or unsecured financing or refinancing, project finance, capital markets; 
• Handle corporate affairs matters, including GA minutes, BOD Minutes, amendments of AoAs, corporate restructurings and transformations.  

What you bring to the role: 

• Qualified as an attorney-at-law in Greece; 
• A Master of Laws (LL.M.) or equivalent postgraduate qualification in the field of finance;
• 6 - 8 years working experience as a lawyer; 
• Excellent command of the English language and thorough analytical and drafting skills;
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office;

• Advanced communication skills, willing attitude and team-work spirit.
