  • 【Leading Innovation in the Engineering: ATAL’s Sharing on Groundbreaking 85% MiMEP Adoption in Hong Kong’s Private Construction Project】 ATAL takes pride in being a pioneer in Hong Kong in applying Multi-trade Integrated Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MiMEP) 🏗️ across a range of engineering projects to enhance efficiency, safety and quality 🎯. We are proud to participate in the Lee Garden Eight project in Causeway Bay, a joint development by Hysan Development Company Limited and Chinachem Group, which implements  85% of the building services installation through MiMEP — representing one of the highest rates of MiMEP application in Hong Kong’s private sector. 🌟 During the recently co-organised “A Sustainable Future – Pioneering MiMEP Innovation” Summit, we had the honour of presenting MiMEP’s transformative power to the Secretary for Development Ms Bernadette Lin, and over 1,000 government representatives, industry leaders and technical experts. Our Managing Director Ir Brian Cheng highlighted how advanced MiMEP can address common pain points in the traditional work culture of the local construction industry, such as rushed work, poor site environment, and long working hours. “Our innovative MiMEP solutions enable us to leverage electrical and mechanical expertise in project planning and management at early stages, improving efficiency and quality, and addressing challenges onsite.” 💡 He emphasised that ATAL’s MiMEP is not merely an offsite fabrication but a systematic solution developed from our extensive practical experience. It is an innovative solution that can create significant value for our clients and stakeholders. ATAL has established the dedicated “MiMEP Design and Manufacturing Centre” and "MiMEP High Productivity Research Centre" in Zhuhai, maintaining strict quality control ✅over every MiMEP component. Brian stated that MiMEP could improve construction productivity by integrating the capabilities of the Greater Bay Area with cutting-edge technology from Hong Kong to expedite the development of new quality productive forces. 📈 United in our ambitions, we strive to set new standards in engineering and create greater value through MiMEP in Hong Kong that positively impact the construction industry. 🚀 #ATAL #EngineeringWithPassion #MiMEP #innovation #productivity #safety #quality #efficiency

  • 【Cultivating Green Minds: ATAL Volunteers Promote Water Sustainability to Students in “Green Day in Ma Wan” Event💧】 For the third consecutive year, ATAL has partnered with non-profit organisation Rainbow Foundation to co-organise the “Green Day in Ma Wan” volunteer event. The event aimed to cultivate a sustainability-oriented mindset among the younger generation and encourage them to embrace green living by putting theory into action. With “water sustainability” as the theme of this year’s event, 11 ATAL volunteers and over 30 primary students spent a meaningful morning together with knowledge sharing and fun-filled outdoor activities. Our #GraduateTrainee of Environmental Engineering Department Patrick Fung delivered an engaging session on the distribution of water resources on earth and its importance, the concept of “water footprint” 👣, and the sources of Hong Kong’s drinking water. He also highlighted how ATAL’s #EnvironmentalEngineering projects contribute to the city’s clean drinking water, wastewater treatment and water recycling. ♻️ Besides the interactive Q&As, our #DigitalTwin solution for water and wastewater treatment sparked curiosity among the students, many of whom are familiar with virtual games 🎮 and building virtual cities. The fun continued outdoors at Noah’s Ark Hong Kong, where our volunteers and the students participated in a water distillation workshop. From setting up experiment tools to patiently observing water droplets forming from evaporated water mixed with dirt, the students learnt firsthand about the process of water purification and distillation, thus raising their awareness of environmental protection 🌏 and water sustainability. The event concluded with more Q&As back in the classroom, where Patrick shared career planning tips and inspired the students to consider pursuing a future in engineering. 👷♂️ At ATAL, we are committed to supporting our community❤️ We take pride in equipping the students with newfound knowledge on water sustainability and inspiring them to envision a future in the engineering industry! #ATAL #EngineeringwithPassion #CSR #Sustainability #volunteering
