FiNETech3 – Beyond Greenfinity The HKMA co-hosted FiNETech3 – “Beyond Greenfinity” – today, the third edition of the flagship FiNETech Series, with Cyberport Hong Kong and FinTech Association of Hong Kong (FTAHK). 150+ banks, securities, insurance and technology companies gathered at this event to explore next-level Fintech collaboration and discover the breadth of innovations that Greentech has to offer. Carmen Chu, Executive Director (Banking Supervision) of the HKMA, highlighted in her opening remarks the emergence of sustainable finance and the pivotal role of Greentech that is accelerating the transition to a greener economy. Greentech solution providers also demonstrated their innovations during the rapid-fire demo sessions. The HKMA will continue to foster growth in Fintech through future FiNETech Series. BlueOnion - Tools for responsible investing and sustainability. EVIDENT – Blockchain platform for alternative assets. LIBERTIFY – Turning complex documents into engaging videos using AI. Otonomi – Instant quotes for time-critical cargo. Oxford Risk – Behavioral finance software for better decisions. Planto – AI enhancing customer intelligence in banking. zkMe – Decentralized identity platform ensuring user privacy. A big thank you to Secretary Hui, Simon, and Marco for your fantastic support. 【#FILAP2024】 Accenture Fintech Innovation Lab Asia-Pacific 2024 Demo Day, 8 Start-ups Leading the New Future of FinTech Cyberport and Accenture co-organised the demo day for the "FinTech Innovation Lab Asia-Pacific 2024" (FILAP 2024) accelerator programme yesterday (22 October) at Cyberport. This year’s FILAP themed "Accelerating Fintech Excellence" aims to help FinTech companies explore new opportunities. Christopher Hui, Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury; Simon Chan, Chairman of Cyberport; Marco Tsui, Managing Director and Hong Kong Financial Services Lead, Accenture Greater China and Financial institutions, including AXA, HSBC, J.P. Morgan, and other industry leaders also attended. Four Cyberport’s community members BlueOnion, EVIDENT, Planto and zkMe, together with the other four FILAP finalists (Bilby, LIBERTIFY, Otonomi, Oxford Risk) also participated to showcase their achievements in innovation and technology.
