Much like travel, art nurtures and inspires – last week, we were thrilled to have hosted members of our valued Diamond community for an exclusive evening at the M+ Special Exhibition, “The Hong Kong Jockey Club Series: Picasso for Asia—A Conversation", ahead of its public opening. The event brought together our valued Cathay Diamond community members and senior management for a delightful cocktail session. To make the event more special, Doryun Chong, M+ Artistic Director and Chief Curator, also shared the story behind the curation of more than 60 masterpieces by Pablo Picasso, alongside around 130 remarkable works by Asian and Asian-diasporic artists. We’re pleased to share that the Cathay Group reported an attributable profit of HK$9.9 billion in 2024, driven by stronger cargo demand, higher passenger volumes, lower fuel prices and higher cost efficiencies.   The Cathay Group continues to strengthen Hong Kong’s position as an international aviation hub, having committed over HK$100 billion in investments in new aircraft and elevating the customer experience coinciding with the launch of the Three-Runway System.   To further enrich our home city’s connection to the world, we’ve already announced 13 additional destinations for 2025, with an aim to bring our passenger services to more than 100 destinations worldwide within the year.    We are grateful to our people, customers and stakeholders for the incredible support they have shown over the past year.
