The seminar is specifically for Hong Kong-registered veterinarians. Dr. TAYLOR has extensive experience administering anaesthesia to various species, including horses, cattle, sheep, pigs, goats, alpacas, dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, rats, and ferrets. He has also worked with exotic animals, such as Burmese pythons, giraffes, pygmy hippopotamuses, and California sea lions. His procedures have ranged from routine cases involving healthy patients to those involving critically ill animals. Dr. Taylor’s areas of interest include abdominal emergencies (particularly equine colic), cardio-thoracic interventions, and multi-modal anaesthesia and analgesia. Dr. Liam DONALDSON is a distinguished specialist in veterinary emergency and critical care. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Veterinary Science from James Cook University in Townsville, Australia, graduating as class Dux. Following this, Dr. DONALDSON completed a rotating internship at Queensland Veterinary Specialists, where he developed a keen interest in critical care medicine. Significant achievements mark Dr. DONALDSON's academic journey. He pursued a veterinary emergency and critical care residency at the University of Melbourne and earned two master's degrees: a Master of Veterinary Science and a Master of Veterinary Studies. Also, Dr. DONALDSON's expertise was formally recognised and became an American Diplomate of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care. He is a member of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care and holds an honorary senior fellowship at the University of Melbourne.
