  • 𝐇𝐊𝐁𝐀𝐂’𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲: 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 At HKBAC, safety is always our top priority, especially with the exciting operational launch of the Three-runway System at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) on the horizon. HKIA runs over 100 drills, exercises, and training seminars each year to ensure that all teams are ready for any situation that may arise. This year, we’re proud to announce that our Operations, Training, and Compliance team actively participated in Crash Exercises 2024 as observer. These exercises provided an invaluable opportunity to familiarise ourselves with emergency procedures under the new Three-runway System. During the exercise, we observed a simulated aircraft crash and rescue operation on the reconfigured Centre Runway, involving over 1,000 participants from more than 20 organisations and government departments. This level of collaboration reinforces our shared commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and emergency response. A huge thank you to our dedicated team members who contributed to this exercise. Your hard work and teamwork play a crucial role in ensuring a safe operational environment as we look ahead to the future of business aviation in Hong Kong. #HKBAC #Operations #Training #Compliance #CrashEx #ContinuousImprovement #HKIA

  • 𝐏𝐎𝐕: 𝐖𝐞 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐤𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐰𝐨 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐀𝐠𝐨… On October 18, 2022, we kicked off a major expansion at the Hong Kong Business Aviation Centre (HKBAC). This development, paired with the upcoming Three-Runway System, is set to elevate our capacity to deliver world-class business aviation services and reinforce our status as an international aviation powerhouse. For 26 years, HKBAC has been all about growth and innovation, transforming from our humble beginnings in shipping containers—where rainstorms turned the metal roof into a concert of sound—into a cutting-edge facility complete with our own fuel hydrants. This evolution showcases our commitment to operational excellence and the ever-changing needs of our clients. Get ready for more updates on the Terminal Redevelopment Project and the iconic "The Canopy." • At HKBAC, we know that safety is no joke — except when it comes to dodging the odd “ramp gremlin” during our latest FOD Walk! Nothing says “exciting day” like hunting for stray bolts under the blazing sun (thankfully, the coconut water saved the day). For our fellow aviation folks: let’s keep the runway smoother than a CAT II approach. Because as we all know, the only FOD we like seeing is a Flight Operations Directive. Stay sharp, stay safe, and watch out for those sneaky rivets! #HKBAC #FODAwareness #Teamwork #SafetyFirst #HealthyChoices #AviationSafety #ForeignObjectDebris #BusinessAviation #GA #BA
