The highly anticipated National Day fireworks display lit up Victoria Harbour once again! The show tonight featured eight acts with over 30,000 fireworks, showcasing patterns of purple flowers with five petals, smiling faces and connecting hearts. The breathtaking visuals created a magical atmosphere like no other. Let’s relive the epic moments with us!

The panda family in Hong Kong is welcoming two new members —An An and Ke Ke! The adorable pair departed from Sichuan this morning and flew to Hong Kong on a chartered flight. Let’s give them a big welcome! They are currently undergoing quarantine, and will soon acclimate to their new home environment. We can expect to meet them at Ocean Park Corporation by mid-December! In the meantime, a series of citywide activities will roll out to welcome our panda friends, including citywide naming contest, panda-themed drawing competition, drone performances hosted by HKTB and special edition of ‘A Symphony of Lights’ . The newly released 2024 list of "The World’s 50 Best Hotels" sees Capella Bangkok taking the top spot. The drones over the harbour tonight dazzled us by “dropping” giant mooncakes from the sky and then transforming into adorable Jade Rabbit and lanterns lighting up the night! The most remarkable moment was a surprise appearance from our beloved panda, sending warm festival greetings as the grand finale, leaving everyone in awe! It’s that time of year again! Over three consecutive evenings, from September 16 to 18, more than 300 performers will bring this dazzling fire dragon to life, weaving through the streets of Tai Hang. This year, we are thrilled to expand the performance zone to Causeway Bay and introduce a team of LED dragon dancers, featuring record participation from local children in this century-old tradition. On the night of the Mid-Autumn Festival (17 September), the fire dragon will make its way to Victoria Park at around 10:30pm.
