With over 15 years of experience with Jardine Matheson and MINDSET, Sherry brings a wealth of expertise and knowledge to the Board, and has a strong passion towards supporting the community. For the past five years, Sherry has played a pivotal role as an Executive Committee member, championing the importance of mental health within Jardines and the wider community. Sherry also served as a Jardine Ambassador volunteering for MINDSET from 2015 - 2017, demonstrating her commitment to mental health advocacy. 🌍✨ Today is World Mental Health Day! This year's theme "Mental Health at Work," highlights the importance of having a supportive workplace that prioritises well-being. At MINDSET, we are committed to raising awareness for mental health and creating inclusive communities where everyone can thrive. Last week, we kickstarted the Walk Up Jardine House 2024 Virtual Race and have seen over 750 runners participated! To mark World Mental Health Day, John Witt, Group Managing Director at Jardine Matheson, Sherry Wong, Board Member of MINDSET and Candice Powell, Chief Executive Officer at Mind HK 香港心聆 stepped up for mental health by participating in a mini-competition at the Boost Up Station here at the Jardine Matheson office. [🌟 Inspiring Change with MINDSET Ambassadors I 與思健大使一起帶動改變🌟] On 21 September, our passionate MINDSET Ambassadors had an inspiring day visiting at MINDSET Place and Mind Space. We had the opportunity to connect with residents of MINDSET Place, listening to their life stories and understanding their needs.   Special thanks to the arrangements of Mind Space, we learned about the history of mental health services in Hong Kong, gaining valuable insights into the evolution of support in our community. We also experienced simulated symptoms, allowing us to better understand the challenges faced by individuals with mental health conditions. [Highlights: MINDSET Ambassadors Appreciation Ceremony & Orientation Day I 焦點：思健大使慶祝典禮及迎新日] Our MINDSET Ambassadors Appreciation and Celebration Ceremony took place last Friday at the Penthouse of Jardine House, with the two cohorts of ambassadors and their supportive colleagues in attendance. Mr. Matthew Bland, Board Member of MINDSET, commenced the ceremony and recognised the contributions of the first cohort of volunteers, including three exceptional individuals for their outstanding performance during their service.   Moving forward, the 30 MINDSET Ambassadors of the second cohort will continue to drive the implementation and promotion of MINDSET initiatives, with a primary focus on Education, Fundraising, as well as Job Training and Social Enterprises. The Ambassadors have already had their orientation day to get to know each other and understand the mental health landscape.
