On 2 December, we launched our second 7-Eleven franchise at The Education University of Hong Kong. In collaboration with MentalCare Connect Co Ltd, a Subsidiary of the Mental Health Association of Hong Kong, this store employs persons in recovery, equipping them with valuable skills for reintegration into the job market.   Our first store at Tseung Kwan O Hospital has already created job opportunities for over 20 persons in recovery. This initiative exemplifies a sustainable business model that provides training and job prospects while empowering these individuals to re-enter the workforce.   We are committed to ensuring that 50 percent of our staff are persons in recovery, fostering a supportive environment and creating meaningful job roles. [Walk Up Jardine House 2024 - Sustainability Facts I 齊步上怡廈 2024 - 可持續發展元素] Our involvement with our communities goes beyond the Walk Up Jardine House event. Despite its cancellation due to unforeseen weather conditions, we were excited to discover new opportunities for creating a positive impact.   We express our sincere gratitude to #WellcomeHongKong for their generous donation of over 800 food items, such as bananas, apples, and packaged baked goods. These items have been redistributed to ImpactHK, who have shared them with underprivileged individuals and families in need.   Additionally, we have contributed more than 20 virtual race steppers to the New Life Association Residential Service units. This initiative not only helps to extend the lifespan of the equipment and minimise waste, but also encourages residents to engage in daily exercise, thus benefiting their physical and mental well-being.   We extend our heartfelt thanks once again for your unwavering support. Walk Up Jardine House Appreciation Ceremony I 齊步上怡廈感謝典禮   On 4 December 2024, we held the "Walk Up Jardine House Appreciation Ceremony," announcing the successful completion of the annual "Walk Up Jardine House" fundraising event, which raised HK$5 million for mental health. [Walk Up Jardine House 2024 - Physical Race & Carnival Cancelled] Due to the recent Hong Kong Observatory announcement that the Strong Wind Signal No. 3 will remain in force at least until 10am tomorrow,  10 November 2024, the Physical Race & Carnival of Walk Up Jardine House 2024 has been cancelled. This decision was taken after careful consideration by MINDSET and for the safety of all participants.     We thank all sponsors and participants for your support and donations towards Walk Up Jardine House and MINDSET, we will ensure all donations continue to be channelled towards mental health.
