    * To ignite the imagination of the younger generation in Hong Kong towards careers beyond the well-trodden paths of medicine, law, and accounting, we must first dislodge the traditional mindset that tends to prioritise these professions. In an amusing incident from the South Korean TV series "The Producer" (Korean: 프로듀사, see製片師), a proud mother joyfully confuses a "producer" (프로듀사, peurodyu-sa, with the "-sa" ending) with esteemed "-sa" occupations like a doctor (uisa, 醫師), lawyer (byeonhosa, 辯護士/師), or accountant (hoegyesa, 會計師). Her exclamation? "Our family now boasts a master ('-sa') in the field of... well, a Producer!" This light-hearted mix-up capture the shift needed if we want our youngsters to reach for the stars — be it in astronomy, astrophysics, or space science. Let's stand by their dreams, rejoice in their ambitions, provide unwavering support, and empower them to flourish in their chosen paths. After all, fostering dreams is the primary launchpad to soaring among the stars! 🚀✨

The Bubble Nebula & Star Cluster M52 | Burrell Schmidt Telescope FriendsofNASA.org | High-res image: https://lnkd.in/gu3hvqha Open star cluster Messier 52 (NGC 7654) [upper-left] and the Bubble emission nebula (NGC 7635) [lower-right]. This combination of CCD images from the Kitt Peak Burrell Schmidt Telescope extends more than a degree across the sky (twice the diameter of the full moon). What created this huge space bubble? Blown by the wind from a star, this tantalizing, head-like apparition is cataloged as NGC 7635, but known simply as the Bubble Nebula. The featured striking view utilizes a long exposure to reveal the intricate details of this cosmic bubble and its environment. Although it looks delicate, the 10 light-year diameter bubble offers evidence of violent processes at work. Seen here above and right of the Bubble's center, a bright hot star is embedded in the nebula's reflecting dust. A fierce stellar wind and intense radiation from the star (that likely has a mass 10 to 20 times that of the Sun) has blasted out the structure of glowing gas against denser material in a surrounding molecular cloud.
