Open Lab is off to a flying start, and is already teaming up with Redress on an exciting project! Redress, a Hong Kong-based NGO, promotes circular fashion in Asia by educating and empowering designers and consumers. One of their programmes collects and manages unwanted clothing through resale, donation, or downcycling. To minimize downcycling, Redress has partnered with Open Lab, sending up to 750 kg of 'downcycle pile' monthly for two key initiatives: 👚Blended Textile Upcycling 👚AI Sorting Technology Enhancement This partnership not only aims to reduce clothing waste but also promotes a more sustainable approach to managing clothing waste and extending the lifespan of materials. Interested in joining forces with Open Lab for sustainable projects like this?
