IHG Giving for Good 2024: What’s Happening at Regent Hong Kong?! It’s IHG Giving for Good Month! This initiative is about contributing to society and making efforts that positively impact our communities, reinforcing the values we uphold at IHG. Giving for Good is a wonderful opportunity for colleagues to come together and advance our Journey to Tomorrow commitment, which aims to improve the lives of 30 million people worldwide. At Regent Hong Kong, our team collaborated with the local charity J Life Foundation Limited to distribute rice, a diverse selection of nutritious foods, and essential daily resources to those in need. Through this partnership, 500 families and 200 seniors benefited from the distribution, receiving vital items that support their everyday lives. Our Hotel Manager, Rick Lai, alongside Mandy Wong, Director of Quality & Learning, and Ken Chan, Harbourside Manager, recently returned to their alma mater, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University’s School of Hotel and Tourism Management. They led an engaging panel session on the development of hospitality and tourism industry in the post-pandemic landscape. Katy Fok, our Director of Human Resources, also contributed valuable insights on career development. Over 130 MSc Marketing students participated, eager to gain a deeper understanding of the market and learn how to distinguish themselves in their careers. The enthusiasm from the students were incredible, and we received fantastic feedback, highlighting how motivating the experience was for everyone involved.
