You're talking too much and no one is listening Because you've ignored VAK communication VAK Communication – It’s All in How They Connect: ↳Visual: What they see ↳Auditory: What they hear ↳Kinaesthetic: What they feel Step 1: Identify Their Style →Do they crave crisp visuals and clear data? →Are they moved more by tone and conversation? →Or do they connect through tangible experiences? Step 2: Adapt Your Approach →10-page PowerPoint might overwhelm a visual thinker →Big gestures and rapid tone changes can distract a prospect craving calm clarity →Overly personal questions may feel intrusive to someone who values subtle rapport Step 3: Observe, Breathe, and Adjust →Stop. Take a breath. Read the room. Adapt and move on Selling isn’t formulaic, it’s about leveraging your people skills Do you agree? What’s your top tip for adapting to different communication styles? 99% Attitude 1% Ability If you think selling is all about talent Then you’re missing the point Attitude is everything (almost) Yet, we all lose it sometimes How do you protect your attitude? Try this 👇 1️⃣ Focus on the process, not the results. Selling is a set of mechanics keep the wheels turning You’ll eventually arrive 2️⃣ Guard your energy Your glass is full in the morning but nearly empty by day’s end Visualise it slowly depleting Pace yourself—it’s a marathon, not a sprint. 3️⃣ Surround yourself with positive influences You will become a product of your environment If you see negativity in the office, walk away And sit with the high rollers What’s your secret to staying positive? If you kick an empty can down the street, it makes a lot of noise LinkedIn is full of empty cans. Fragile pieces of trash If you see someone claim to make $2m ↳ They're probably lying If you see someone claim to land 10 clients last week ↳ They're probably lying If you see someone tell you they've helped a founder with XYZ... ↳They're probably lying Why am I saying this? Because I am talking to the real grafters out there Salespeople who are earning an honest and modest living Young guns saving every penny to buy their first house Single mums working their backs off to put food on the table Ignore the noise What you're doing is fantastic You're the ones full of substance Moving silent in the shadows And if someone kicks you They're going to know you're not an empty can - - - - ♻ Repost if this resonated 👉 Follow Bobby to sharpen your sales skills 🔔 Subscribe to Think Big Coach for more insights

30 days ago I took on a new challenge This is what I learnt Lara Acosta is a pioneer within the real of professional business related social media content Her story is profound. She was in a rut during covid and couldn't even find a job Within 5 years she's built two successful businesses With zero outside investment The one thing I learnt from Lara is to back yourself, in everything you do She challenges people to write consistently for 30 days It's tough. The pressure is there to come up with content. You have days where you just don't know what to say. But when the pressure is there, you shine. You realise what you're capable of. I realise after 30 days of consistently writing, that I have a lot to offer I know I've helped people I know my efforts are making a difference Will I keep writing every day? Maybe. I am passionate about sales training. I love to see people come out their shell I used to train people how to sell door-to-door Some of them barely spoke any English Thriving in sales is possible if you are passionate This is my calling. If you're reading this and you've enjoyed my content so far Then I say - thank you for being part of the journey. It won't end here. 🩷 - - - - ♻ Repost if this resonated 👉 Follow Bobby to sharpen your sales skills 🔔 Subscribe to Think Big Coach for more insights

People don’t quit their jobs They quit their managers Let’s fix that There are millions of managers, but far fewer true leaders Leaders value relationships They earn admiration Not authority. Working for a boss you like guarantees better results A team with strong bonds needs less micromanagement Still stuck? Here are a few of my tips: • Remember names and understand their families • Give positive nicknames (only if they’re on board) • Learn their interests – hobbies, sports, music, travel • Socialise beyond the pub - build genuine connections • Never cancel 1-2-1s. Your teams craves your attention What steps do you take to be a great leader? Leaders aren't born calm They are forged in chaos Beneath every poised exterior, is a storm no one sees Ever seen a swan on a pond? Not just the graceful glide above, but the frantic paddling beneath? That's leadership in action To your team, be the calm swan cross the pond with serene confidence Let them feel safety, even when chaos churns below Yet beneath the surface, you're fighting currents, pouring every ounce of effort to keep moving forward Sometimes, reveal the storm Other times, let only the calm shine When challenges hit, your team needs that steady assurance Which side are you showing? - - - - ♻ Repost if this resonated 👉 Follow Bobby to sharpen your sales skills 🔔 Subscribe to Think Big Coach for more insights

I have a proven track record of getting salespeople to hit targets Let me explain how I do this 👇 Selling is easy and anyone can do it If they focus on the process ↳And break it down into steps Take my industry of helping companies to find offices Our revenue comes from landlords and operators of flexible workspaces, when we find businesses to occupy their spaces How do we go about getting this revenue? We break down the end goal with mini-goals and a simple process to follow ✍🏽 1️⃣ To hit your revenue targets you need to do deals 2️⃣ To do deals you need enquiries 3️⃣ To find enquiries you need to have meetings 4️⃣ To have meetings you need to make calls 5️⃣ To make calls you need to pick up the phone When I have an under performer who is low on confidence ❌ I tell them that I don’t want the discussion of their revenue to be brought up ✅ We sit down to make mini goals and each week focus on these KPIs ✨The first week all I want them to do is make more calls, we cut out all the other noise More calls = more meetings ✨The second week we’ve set up meetings and there is less time for calls Ok, so we’re still making calls but now attending meetings together ✨The third week, some of these meetings may have turned into enquiries and now we have three things to do in a week ✨By the fourth week we have our rhythm back Rinse and repeat 🥇 ⭐️Deals will happen ⭐️revenue will come through ⭐️Your team member feels good Do you find breaking down into micro-goals useful? I would love to hear 👇 - - - - ♻ Repost if this resonated 👉 Follow Bobby to sharpen your sales skills 🔔 Subscribe to Think Big Coach for more insights

Ditch the myth that sales are sleazy Every product you love was sold with purpose And if you disagree, you're missing the point We don’t like being sold to, yet it happens everywhere When I worked in direct sales, there was no grey area I was here to sell - and I was damn proud of it Yesterday I did a post about selling on LinkedIn Today I am dedicated one to fast paced transactional sales For those hustling in high-volume roles, these four impulses are your bedrock 👇 1/ Fear of Loss: "We’re running a special promo today - offer ends this week." 2/ Social Proof ("Sheep Jones"): "Several of your neighbours have already grabbed this deal." 3/ K.I.S.S, Not K.I.L.L: Keep It Short and Simple - not Long and Lengthy 4/ A.B.Q: Always Be Qualifying - the classic but with a spin Do these tactics fit in a corporate or B2B setting? Absolutely. The principles remain - the execution evolves Guys listen, every product is made to be sold If you're in a sales role, then beat your chest and be proud You my friend, are the one who turn those layers of pressure Into diamonds Are you with me? Set the pace guys, let's go! - - - - ♻ Repost if this resonated 👉 Follow Bobby to sharpen your sales skills 🔔 Subscribe to Think Big Coach for more insights
