We are a non-profit organisation (registered charity number 91/6962) established in 2004 and dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls in Hong Kong through ground-breaking research, impactful and innovative community programmes, and education, media engagement and advocacy. Our three key focus areas are challenging gender stereotypes, increasing the number of women in decision-making and leadership positions, and empowering women in poverty to achieve a better quality of life for themselves and their families.

On October 29, TWF CEO Fiona Nott spoke at the Embrace a Diverse Community Forum 2024, hosted by the Diversity and Inclusion Committee of The Law Society of Hong Kong. The forum, themed "Beyond Glass Ceilings: Women Leading with Vision," explored challenges and opportunities for women in leadership across various sectors. Alongside distinguished panelists including Rachel Huf, Chief Executive, Hong Kong and General Counsel, Asia Pacific | Barclays, Angela Mak, General Counsel & Corporate Development Director | Hutchison Whampoa , and Dr Pang Yiu-kai, Chairman | Hong Kong Tourism Board and Chairman | Jardine Matheson, Fiona discussed gender-specific barriers, diversity gaps, and strategies to foster inclusive cultures.
