Another #VEXUKNationals in the books and what an amazing four days it was! The Telford International Centre again became the UK epicentre of competiitve robotics as 150 teams competed across 4 age levels. With hundreds of matches and thousands of points scored, we crowned our UK National Champions and selected the 28 teams that have now qualifed to represent the UK at the VEX Robotics World Championships 2025 in Dallas, TX in May. It couldn't happen without the army of volunteers and judges who are drawn from a mix of ex-competitors, industry partners and academia including - but not limited to - BAE Systems, Microsoft, Meta, PrintCity MMU, Travis Perkins, GE, MTC - Manufacturing Technology Centre, Loughborough University, The National Robotarium, Newcastle University, UCL, The Engineering & Design Institute London (TEDI-London). As well as being great role models, the impact that seeing where careers can lead to after the competition is priceless! A huge thank you to the core team here - Chris Calver, Melissa Butterworth, Charlotte Robson and Anthony Bayle - who put in countless hours in the run up to, and over the event. It is a true team effort! Finally a massive shout out to the sponsors and partners who make the event possible at the scale we have reached - The Reece Foundation, MBDA, NORTHROP GRUMMAN FOUNDATION, Dell Technologies, Eaton, Google, Tesla, NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration, ABB and Innovation First International, Inc. If you missed the event this year, then all of the photos are now up on Flickr and the livestreams are still available, visit - www.vexuknationals.co.uk - and if you want to get involved next year, lock out Friday 27th February to Monday 2nd March for VEX UK Nationals 2026!

VEX PLC is giving sneak previews of what to expect at the the VEX Robotics Educators Conference. "We’ve been having a great time playing with the soon to be released AIM Robot! It has a built-in AI Vision Sensor that allows it to detect pre-trained objects (among other things) such as the balls and barrels that come with it. Here’s a video of a fun little project for the robot to play fetch with itself. Enjoy!" https://buff.ly/3XjUFad #VEXConference
