Last month Viu Singapore was proud to have co-organised the inaugural WATERBOMB SINGAPORE 2024, an event that drew an impressive 18,500 attendees across two days. The event was a resounding success with fans engaging directly with both local talents and renowned K-pop artistes such as RAIN, Jay Park, CL, JESSI, Sandara Park, BIBI, and KWON EUNBI. Viu and Vision+ are delighted to launch the "Paket Combo Mevvah" in Indonesia, thus strengthening their commitment to provide a great entertainment experience for the Indonesian consumer. With this combo package, by paying on either of the services, customers can enjoy premium entertainment on both services. Viu is delighted to be one of the partners to have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Korea Creative Content Agency (#KOCCA) to expand the genre diversity, production, investment, and distribution K- content internationally. The signing ceremony took place at the #BroadcastWorldwide2024 (BCWW 2024) event held at COEX in Seoul on the 27th of August. The ceremony was attended by Cho Hyun-rae, President of KOCCA; lofai Lo (COO, Viu) and Ryan Shiotani, Senior Vice President of Content for Asia & Greater China at BBC Studios.
