Oversee the entire accounting process, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and reconciliations.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
Perform budgeting and forecasting activities to assist in financial planning and decision-making processes.
Monitor and analyze variances between budgeted and actual results, providing insights and recommendations to management.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as department heads and senior management, to develop and manage budgets for various departments.
Assist in the coordination and completion of year-end audits, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and timely submission of required documentation.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in the retail industry.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA are highly desirable but NOT a must
