A global law firm headquartered in US is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their Hong Kong office in Central and provide essential support to their billing and finance department
About The Role
As an Assistant Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of expense reports, vendor payments, and accounting entries. You will help maintain documentation, invoice drafting, and handle other ad hoc accounting assignments.
Responsibilities
Validate and ensure accuracy of employee expense reports and vendor payment vouchers in compliance with company policies.
Process accounting entries and maintain the accounting system.
Verify bank account details with vendors and payees.
Input vendor invoices into the ChromeRiver system.
Safeguard and manage the petty cash fund according to policy.
Maintain and organize billing documents in the system.
Assist with billing-related tasks, such as providing printouts, running draft invoices, and preparing materials for meetings.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting.
1 year relevant experience.
Fluent in written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Great communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
Discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information.
Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize work, and adapt to flexible working hours.
Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are welcome to apply.
