Strategy & Transformation (Trade Finance)

My client is a mid size commercial bank with a global presence.

As part of their continued local and regional development, we are seeking an internal consultant who can take the initiative on both business and regulatory focused projects.

Based in Hong Kong you will oversee some of the day to day operational and administrative functions of the company, encompassing strategy, regulatory affairs, execution and implementation and, more importantly, act as a champion of transformation across all areas of the company.

Requirements:

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness, and enthusiasm, to take on multiple responsibilities and turn your hand to diverse projects as they arise.
• A good understanding of Hong Kong's regulatory environment is required and experience across other regional hubs, particularly Singapore, would be beneficial.
• Experience leading financial services transformation projects, from a business as opposed to tech, perspective is strongly preferred.
• Managerial experience would be beneficial.
• Experience with trade finance is essential.
• Experience from within commercial banking is preferred, especially if you have a good knowledge of the three-tier licencing system.
• Experience from within a mid-size environment would be a nice-to-have but your mindset and attitude are more important.
• Experience working as a business consultant, either from an internal strategy / COO / regulatory or business transformation team or from an external consulting firm.
• Fluent English, oral and written, is essential.
