Role Introduction

Reports To: Assistant Manager, Digital Marketing

The major role of the position is project management & content execution on Cathay’s owned digital platforms including but not limited to Facebook and Instagram. We are looking for an individual with a passion to create talk-of-the-town digital campaigns and foster social advocacy for Asia Miles by Cathay.

Key Responsibilities

Digital marketing strategy & planning

  • Collaborate with various marketing teams to formulate integrated campaign strategies that make effective use of Cathay’s social media channels.
  • Manage and maintain Cathay’s owned digital platforms to support brand building, and marketing activities for raising brand awareness and driving traffic.

Project & content management

  • Project manage and execute engaging content that meets given objectives and fosters the Cathay’s community.
  • Manage editorial calendars, media budget planning and syndicate messaging schedules primarily across Facebook and Instagram.
  • Identify and engage with relevant KOL/celebs for marketing campaigns collaborations.

Analytics

  • Analyze, track performance, and generate post-campaign reports and recommendations for future campaign optimization.
  • Seek appropriate opportunities to test and translate learnings into insights or best practices for sharing.
  • Stay abreast of emerging digital and marketing trends and transform findings into actionable marketing opportunities.

Community management

  • Coordinate with various departments to resolve member enquiries from social media that have been escalated by service center.
  • Monitor member enquiries from social media, identify trends, and provide best practice to front line service center colleagues to continuously improve quality of member service via social media channels.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience from either agency or in-house with hands-on planning and execution across Facebook and Instagram
  • or Editorial roles with focus on social media from reputable publication or online portal.
  • Strong operating experience using Meta Business Suite and Ads Manager, plus familiarity with Custom Audience.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese is a must.
