Our client who is a global FMCG player is currently in search of a General Manager, Strategy & Commercial Planning for the Asia region.


Purpose:

This GM is to lead the analytical and research activities supporting an organization's strategic, short-term, and long-range goal planning function. Oversees data collection and conducts organizational reviews to identify the business's strengths and weaknesses and evaluate operational effectiveness


In this vital role you will lead the company's strategic planning initiatives and oversees its operational performance, working with leaders across the organization to implement the strategic vision. Responsible for allocating resources, such as budget, manpower, and technology, to support the execution of strategic initiatives, based on the strategic priorities and objectives of the organization.


Requirement:

  • Master degree or higher in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Professional qualifications in strategic planning, business management, or a related field are preferred.
  • Minimum of 20 years of work experience in strategy, business development, or related roles within the consumer goods industry.
  • Strong knowledge of strategy, market analysis, and business performance evaluation methodologies and frameworks.
