Colliers is recruiting an IT Executive in Hong Kong. Reporting to the Senior Associate Director, Information & Technology, Asia based in India, this position will be a focal point to provide daily IT front-line technical support to Hong Kong office.


Key Areas of Responsibility (KARs):

  • Provide daily IT support and helpdesk services, offering technical assistance to all company users based in Hong Kong.
  • Manage tickets and requests efficiently using the ServiceNow platform
  • Assist in upgrading/migrating systems and software to ensure secure, reliable, and stable operation of the end-user computing environment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot system, software, hardware, and networking issues.
  • Assist with corporate laptop/desktop imaging, including preparing, testing, and deploying operating systems.
  • Manage operating system and application patch management processes, including evaluation, testing, and deployment.
  • Assist in managing hardware and software inventory items, ensuring all records are constantly updated.
  • Troubleshoot network issues, including WAN/LAN/WIFI, and involved network equipment.
  • Ensure IT operation processes comply with company policy requirements.
  • Perform regular system health checks, user ID maintenance, system performance tuning, capacity planning, and hardware upgrades.
  • Provide training to users and participate in IT projects as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the APAC IT team to align regional IT and initiatives, ensuring consistent IT service delivery across the region.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including setting up workstations and accounts for new employees and disabling access for departing employees.
  • Provide remote support to users working from home or other locations within Hong Kong
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor


Required Qualification Skills and Attributes:

  • Diploma in Computing/Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of relevant IT experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting and technical skills in Windows operating system environment.
  • Knowledge of server administration and network troubleshooting.
  • Good knowledge of Office 365 suite, including MS Teams and SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with managing and supporting cloud-based services and applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and priorities effectively.
  • Experience in providing local on-site support, including hardware setup and maintenance.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and the local language, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels
