Responsibilities
- Provide value-added HR advisory to the management team and people managers on manpower planning, recruitment and selection, employee relations, staff retention, and performance management
- Partner with people managers to develop talent initiatives across the talent management lifecycle, workforce planning, total rewards, staff engagement, leadership assessments, succession planning and change management
- Build an effective communication channel and work closely with people managers
- Represent the company and act as a good spokesperson for employer branding activities and labor regulatory bodies
- Ensure processes that create strong Employer branding are developed, implemented and maintained to support the Scania brand and increase awareness amongst groups of potential employees
- Prepare a wide range of HR documentation including job offers, contracts, disciplinary warning letters & dismissal letters, references and other documents as required
- Design and set out Learning Objectives and Outcomes for relevant Training Courses
- Continuously review employment policies and procedures
- Work according to and in compliance with the Business unit steering documents, e.g. Business plan, Market plan and Competence supply
- Monitor developments in legislation, identify HR good practices and initiate proposals for continuous improvements
- Drive ad hoc HR projects & initiatives
- Support and perform other duties as assigned by management
- University graduate preferably in the discipline of Human Resources Management, Communications, or Business Administration related
- Minimum 8 years relevant working experience preferably as an HR generalist with a focus in recruitment and staff development
- Well-versed in Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and other HR-related legislation
- Strong organizational, analytical, and presentation skills. Good interpersonal skills, able to build up rapport with people at all levels
- Able to manage multi-tasks and high work pressure as well as meeting tight deadline
- High proficiency in written and SPOKEN English and Chinese. Proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage
- Candidates with less experience will be considered for Assistant Manager, People & Culture
