Creating and executing financial analyses in support of the investment process (e.g. financial statement analysis, LBO models, returns and sensitivity analysis, comparable company valuation analysis, etc.
Conducting fundamental research on a wide range of geographies, industries, companies, and macroeconomic trends
Participating in investment diligence including calls / meetings with industry experts, equity research analysts, management teams and private equity sponsors
Supporting investment sourcing, client service requests, and portfolio monitoring and other organizational processes
Stay updated on market trends, economic indicators, and industry developments. Conduct research and analysis to identify potential trading opportunities and assess market conditions. Provide insights and recommendations to traders based on your analysis.
Utilize trading platforms, risk management systems, and pricing models to facilitate trade execution, analysis, and reporting. Collaborate with technology teams to enhance system capabilities and optimize trading workflows.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in finance, statistics, mathematics or related field.
2 years of relevant experience in private equity, investment banking, equity research, with a focus on equity products
Experience in Quantitative modelling,
Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, R) and data analysis tools is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English & Mandarin.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex data and make informed trading decisions
Self-motivated, detail-oriented and ability to work under pressure and multitasking
