Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the development and implementation of new product strategies and initiatives for the region in alignment with company goals and market trends.
Manage and drive category management efforts to optimize product portfolio, pricing strategies, and promotional activities to maximize sales and profitability.
Establish and maintain robust quality management systems to ensure the highest standards of product quality, safety, and consistency across the region.
Ensure compliance with all relevant food regulations and standards, including overseeing food labeling requirements and ensuring product packaging meets all legal requirements.
Conduct supplier audits and manage relationships with key suppliers to maintain high standards of quality, reliability, and performance in the supply chain.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, marketing, operations, and sales to drive successful product launches and meet business objectives.
Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for innovation and growth in the regional food product market.
Requirements
Fluency in both English and Chinese languages to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders across the region.
Demonstrated expertise in quality assurance (QA) practices, food research and development (R&D), and compliance with food regulations and labeling requirements.
Strong background in supply chain management within the food industry, including experience in supplier audit and management, inventory control, and logistics.
Proven track record of driving product quality, safety, and consistency through effective QA processes and standards.
Experience in developing and launching successful food products, demonstrating innovation, creativity, and market understanding.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
