Senior Commercial Manager - Nike

We are seeking an experienced and talented individual to join our dynamic team as the Senior Commercial Manager for the Nike team. In this role, you will direct report to the Hong Kong General Manager to align on strategic priorities and ensure the Nike team meets its financial objectives. You will be directly accountable for the financial performance of the Nike team under your purview, this includes setting and monitoring sales targets, optimizing inventory levels, implementing cost-saving measures, and identifying opportunities for improved profitability.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the operation and merchandising teams to ensure efficient and effective execution of all commercial activities
  • Collaborate closely with the internal stakeholders including Visual Merchandising, HR, IT, Supply Chain, and SEA teams to align on strategic initiatives and operational tasks
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with the Nike sales team to drive sales, market share, and brand visibility
  • Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decision-making
  • Develop and implement innovative merchandising strategies to enhance the customer experience
  • Optimize inventory management and product allocation to meet sales targets and minimize excess stock
  • Provide regular performance reports and recommendations to management
  • Responsible for the full P&L management of the Nike team, including revenue growth, cost control, and profitability optimization



Qualifications:


  • At least 8-10 years of management experience in the retail industry, preferably within the sports industry
  • Solid in-house retail experience
  • Thorough understanding of Nike products and the brand's market positioning
  • Previous experience in merchandising, with a proven track record of success
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in data analysis and using various business intelligence tools
  • Adaptable to change and able to work in a fast-paced environment
