Adapt your content strategy to your growth stage: 1. Early Stage → experiment with short lifecycled content 2. Growth Stage → build long term content programs So don't publish content just for the sake of posting it. Because content is here to: - Ease customer acquisition - Support your business growth - Build your brand along the journey - Provide feedback from your audience So your strategy should evolve based on the company's goal. New growth stage → New content strategy Otherwise, content won't bring enough ROI. And I've noticed 3 main scenarios of an unsuitable strategy: 1. Trying to build a full scale content strategy in early stage You can't build long term content programs before product-market fit. It's dangerous and the lagging results won't match the velocity required in early stage. → Instead, aim for a minimum viable content strategy focused on experimentation, velocity, and fast feedback loop. 2. Building a full scale content strategy without proper foundations You can't build it without a messaging strategy, positioning, strong knowledge of your ICP, and a set of winning channels. → Instead, make sure to nail those marketing foundations first. 3. Keeping only top of funnel content in growth stage You can’t rely only on snack and short content. They are good formats to drive awareness and traffic but not enough for large-scale conversion. → Instead, add content programs that cover the whole buying journey. Like this post?
