We are proud to share that factory acceptance test of one full offshore transformer 550 MVA (220/66 kV) was successfully completed several days ago. This unit has the highest mass of core our factory ever produced, and complex transport is ahead of us. It is great to see one more ester filled transformer and to support the challenging green transition, by seeking and offering optimal technical solutions to our partners. We are on our way... 🛳 Over the last few weeks, it has become clear that we are now entering a new project phase in our Siemens Energy - IPP Renewed project. Even though some final inspections are still pending, the last few weeks have already focused more and more on logistical topics. And today the time has finally come: The first heavy components have left safe ground, as our four generator step-up transformers have been loaded onto a ship in the port of #Rijeka, #Croatia and will then be shipped via Housten to #Delta, #Utah. Many thanks to Koncar Power Transformers Ltd. for the smooth delivery three months ahead of the original schedule! It's good to have you in #teampurple. Also thanks to the Fracht Group - North America for the first small step on our challenging journey together in the coming months!
