About us
At the heart of Rotarian interest is man, especially children who mean the future of every nation and serving those in need. By working together with other clubs, we promote goodwill and peace in the world and actively participate in projects at the global level. The idea and ideal of service is a fundamental determinant of Rotarians. Serving others without personal gain is not only the motto of Rotarians, but it also marks the fingers that connect today more than a million Rotarians in 28,000 clubs in 160 different countries around the world. Croatia has belonged to this large family of Rotarians since 1990 through its first Rotary Club Zagreb, founded immediately after the Croatian people won their free and independent Republic of Croatia in democratic elections.
