  • 🔥 Most coaches train change of direction, but agility is a whole different game. It’s not just speed — it’s reading the play, making split-second decisions, and reacting under pressure. In the latest MM blog, performance coach George M. Perry dives into the mental side of agility, breaking down concepts like agility deficit and dual-task cost, showing how decision-making impacts movement and how to train for the unpredictable nature of sport. Must-read for coaches looking to bridge the gap between physical and cognitive performance. 👉 Read full article here: https://bit.ly/43y802E

  • What an amazing experience at #APTACSM2025! Showcasing Sportreact and connecting with passionate professionals in therapy was truly inspiring! 🔥 We are so grateful for the feedback! Experts explained us how to use Sportreact cues and cognitive games as tasks for concussion treatment. They also showed us how dual-task training helps in rehab and elderly care. It’s so exciting to see that cognitive tech such as Sportreact helps in many fields beyond sports! A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by, tried our system, and shared their enthusiasm! Until next time! 💪

  • HOW ABOUT A SIMPLE "SCAN & START. SCAN & START. SCAN & START"? 🔥 DITCH STOPWATCHES. DITCH MANUAL TIMING. 🔥 The Fastest Hands-Free Timing and Agility System is Almost Here! 🚀 Only a few weeks until Scan & Start changes the game. With Sportreact’s "Scan & Start" bracelets, every rep is automatically recorded, with results and granular data instantly saved to each athlete’s profile. Velocity, power, and force metrics are visible in real-time in Sportreact PLUS, making sprint, agility, and cognitive tracking faster and smarter than ever. How "Scan and Start" Works: 1️⃣ Seamless Athlete Identification Each athlete wears an NFC bracelet linked to their profile in the Sportreact app for instant recognition. 2️⃣ Touch to Start At the start line, the athlete taps their bracelet on an NFC reader, automatically linking their identity to the rep. 3️⃣ Hands-Free Timing The system starts the timer as the athlete passes through laser timing gates—or taps a pod to begin a cognitive workout—capturing start, split, and finish times. 4️⃣ Real-Time Data & Auto-Calculations All performance data is instantly saved, with Sportreact calculating velocity, acceleration, force, and power in real time. 5️⃣ Instant Analytics Coaches can immediately review results, view leaderboards, track progress, and compare athletes — all in the Sportreact PLUS app. 💡 Less time on data, more time for coaching. Ready to level up? 👉 Jump in our DMs now to join the Scan & Start bracelets waitlist!

With the popularity of light sensor systems, many people use them but don’t fully utilize their potential. A simple reaction response such as touching the correct color doesn’t add much value to a task unless placed well enough to require visual attention; even then you’re simply just keeping their eyes off their limb or ground. Choice reaction tasks are a bit more challenging and require a bit more brain processing. Here are ways I integrate light sensor systems using sportreact ‘s reaction and timing gate functions for rehab. - Post op shoulders: once they’re permitted to work AROM, I like to work speed and quickness in sub-max range of motion. - COD: I set up a mini-5-10-5 test (2.5-5-2.5) and have them get used to planting their injured leg. I give feedback based on time and progress to full length test. Same concept with 4-corners drill. - Concussions: going beyond simple reaction tasks and having some math involved in oculomotor tasks. - Testing countermovement jump with Model Health under normal conditions and comparing kinematics to CMJ with choice reaction and working memory task as outlined in Byrnadeen et al, 2023. https://lnkd.in/gcbWaQMX
