Tourist Board of central Istria awards €19,950 for 2025 Events! 🎭✨ The council of Tourist Board of central Istria has officially approved grants for events in 2025 as part of the "Event Support Program." A total of 54 applications were submitted in response to the public call, with 43 events meeting the set criteria. Individual grants range from €200 to €3,000, with a total of €19,950. 💰 This program supports events that enrich the tourist offer of Central Istria, attract more visitors 🏞️ and stimulate spending, especially during the pre- and post-season periods. We are proud to announce that Tourist Board of Central Istria has been granted €145,000 from Croatian National Tourist Board from Fund for Associated Tourist Boards to further enhance and develop our region’s tourism offer! 🌿🏞️ ✅ €90,000 for the organization and co-organization of events ✅ €40,000 for the Central Istria Outdoor All Seasons project ✅ €15,000 for the Authentic Istria Outdoor Brochure in collaboration with Buzet Tourist Board, Tourist Board of municipality of Barban and Žminj These funds will help us create even richer and more diverse experiences for visitors while strengthening Central Istria as a unique outdoor and cultural destination. For now, they are set in two locations: 📍 Tinjan – Discover the legend of Jure Grando, the first European vampire from Kringa. 📍 Gračišće – Learn about the tale of childless women and the belief connected to the Church of St. Mary. Experience these unique stories, explore the beauty of nature and immerse yourself in unforgettable historical narratives. 🌿 Central Istria: A Classroom for Heritage Interpreters! 🌿 If you were in Sveti Petar u Šumi recently, you might have noticed a diverse group exploring the town's hidden gems. 👀 These were participants of a course licensed by Interpret Europe - European Association for Heritage Interpretation, a leading organization in heritage interpretation, organized by the Tourist board of central with support from the Municipality of Sveti Petar u Šumi. Over an intensive five-day workshop, led by Iva Silla and Manuela Hrvatin, participants learned how to present cultural and natural heritage in an engaging and interactive way. 🏛️🌍 Most attendees were local stakeholders dedicated to creating visitor programs, enriching the region’s tourism offerings.
