The UGM in Osaka, Japan is just finished. Our colleagues had a great time and met amazing people. We had Richard Jones talk about what comes next for Chemaxon, Adrian Stevens talked about developing new technologies. Mohan Ponnudurai, gave a talk from Certara, and we had a guest speaker from Axcelead, Inc. as well. The team from BioTechX 2024 came back with a lot of stories after spending eventful days there with Csaba Peltz giving a talk and the team getting a chance to meet with some of our new colleagues from Certara. Here's a short summary from Csaba: "Last week's BioTechX was an amazing event. All those keynotes, the different perspectives on the panel discussions, the various sessions focused on specific areas/domains, and last but not least all the valuable 1:1 discussions at the booth were a great source of insight. Why do you think Tímea Fodor has cycled around lake Balaton twice within two days and ran a half marathon? She has completed this overall 421 km performance in service of raising funds for Kispesti Tanoda, a local after-school development center for underprivileged children. She has done this for the second year in a row, both times reaching her goals on the road as well as in fundraising. We are delighted to work with such a great person as a part of our HR team who actively plays a role in organizing other company-wide charitable and community-building initiatives as well.
