Together, we explored the world of visions and missions and discussed ideas that can make KIKAPCS. even better and more effective every day. 🌈 Because while the smiles of the children and the happiness of families are always our top priority, it's essential to have a well-thought-out strategy supporting our work in the background. During the autumn break, we had another fantastic experience with KIKAPCS. families! 🎥💙 Thanks to the invitation from Etele Cinema and MAX (Warner Bros. Discovery) we watched the animated film Epic Tails, and we can say it was a huge success! Special thanks to Ágnes Gazsó for making this great experience happen! 💙 For some, it was their first time at the cinema, and not just any cinema: we were in the Kids room, where the lights and sound levels are more gentle, allowing children with sensitivities to comfortably enjoy the movie in a safe setting. 🎶 This environment is specifically designed to make every child feel at home, and finally, no one looked at us for having a loud or active child. It was a true safe space for families raising children with SEN, where we could truly be ourselves!💙 #KIKAPCS #charity #EteleCinema #MAX

We warmly invite you to a special book launch evening and roundtable discussion for this Friday, where we will talk about the challenges of being a parent to a child with special needs, inspired by Hajdú-Antal Zsuzsanna's heartfelt book: Belvárosi srác tells the story of fatherhood through the eyes of a dad who navigates the unique challenges of raising his son Misa, who has Down syndrome, facing both the hardships and the unexpected adventures that come their way. 💙 During the evening, actor Nagy Péter János will read excerpts from the book, followed by a conversation where we’ll share our experiences of parenthood, the difficulties, and the beautiful moments. Moreover, by purchasing a Belvárosi srác book, you’ll be supporting the work of the KIKAPCS. Foundation with 800 HUF per book, helping families raising children with special needs. 🙏 📅 When? On Saturday, we attended the 'SNI Információs és Szakmai Nap' event by KidSpirit, and it was an incredible experience!✨ We connected with professionals, met amazing families, and even held a workshop on what the KIKAPCS. community means! It was fantastic to see the interest, and we’re grateful for all the questions! 💙 And the best news? Starting in December, we’ll be accepting new families, so you too can join the KIKAPCS. community! The beginning of September is never boring for us, and this year is no different: our 2024 Autumn Ambassador campaign was launched on 1 September!💙🎉 Our Autumn Ambassador campaign focuses on the health of families with children with SEN!🍏 Did you know that even a simple dental check-up for a child with an SEN is a major ordeal because of the often unbearable lights and noise? Moreover, very few places can provide the needed help for them because of the limited number of professional medical assistance available?
